Sky Sports announce brand new Formula 1 exclusive channel

Sky Sports have announced that for the new 2012 season, there will be a new channel, an exclusive channel for F1. Sky Sports F1 will be a channel dedicated to the motorsport and will also see coverage from not only the live races, but also behind-the-scenes, gossip, as well as talks with various F1 legends throughout the season. If you’re an F1 fan like me, then this is the one thing you should be looking forward to. I may have just creamed myself. 

Video: Kimi Räikkönen Returns To F1 in 2012.

Motorsport legend Kimi Räikkönen will be returning to F1 in the 2012 season. The Finn, who previously raced for Sauber, McLaren Mercedes and Ferrari, will be back in the driver’s seat of a Lotus Renault GP car for the new season. 

Räikkönen has said that he is looking forward to getting back into the car and that the only difficulty he will have adapting to the changes would be with the Pirelli tyres, which are designed to increase tyre wear, forcing the driver to pit more regularly. 

He is known for his very aggressive yet fine driving style but will the Iceman cripple just like Schumacher from legendary to average driver? We shall wait and see. 

The 2012 Formula One Season will start on the 18th March in Melbourne, Australia.
